Medina will visit Tonawanda on Friday

Medina’s quest to claim a third straight C North Division football title will continue on the road Friday evening as the Mustangs visit Tonawanda at 7 p.m.

Medina is 3-0 in the division while Tonawanda is 0-1 in the division and 1-2 overall.

After Friday, the Mustangs have only one C North game remaining against Akron at home on Thursday Oct. 13. Akron is currently in second place at 2-0 in the division and 2-1 overall. In between, the Mustangs have a pair of interdivisional contests at East Aurora on Sept. 30 and at home against Springville on Oct. 7.

Albion will look to make it two wins in a row as the Purple Eagles visit Pioneer at 7 p.m. Friday in an interdivisional contest.

Albion, which is looking to keep the momentum from a 38-21 victory at Olean last week, is 1-2 while Pioneer is 3-0.

Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville will host Newfane in a C North Division game at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Silverbacks are 0-1 in the division and 1-2 overall while the Panthers are 0-2, 0-3.

In Section V 8 Man Division action, Holley will look to get back on the winning track as the Hawks visit CG Finney at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Holley, which lost to co-leader Bolivar-Richburg 34-0 last week, is 2-1 while Finney, which defeated Wellsville 50-22, is 1-2.
