Medina will host Tonawanda for Homecoming Friday; undefeated Holley hosts B-R Saturday

Celebrating Homecoming Medina will host Tonawanda in a C North Division football game at 7 p.m. Friday at Vets Park.

The Mustangs bring a 2-1 C North record into the contest after downing Cleveland Hill 28-6 last Saturday.

The Timberwolves (formerly Warriors) are 0-3 after forfeiting last Friday’s game to Alden due to an insufficient number of healthy and eligible players.

Medina holds a 10-9 edge in the all-time series with Tonawanda.

The big C North game of the weekend will be a battle for first place as undefeated Akron (3-0, 3-0) visits undefeated Newfane (2-0, 3-0) at 7 p.m. Friday.

Albion visits Lackawanna
Albion will face a big test as the Purple Eagles visit undefeated Lackawanna in a B3 Division game at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Steelers bring a 3-0 record into the contest having won their first three games by scores of 60-0 over Lew-Port, 58-0 over Dunkirk and 60-27 over Depew.

The Purple Eagles are 0-3.

Roy-Hart/Barker visits Alden
Roy-Hart/Barker will play its second straight Thursday evening game as the Bulls visit Alden at 7 p.m. in a C North Division contest.

Alden is 2-0 in the division and 3-0 overall while Roy-Hart/Barker is 0-3.

Holley hosts Bolivar-Richburg
Looking to score a repeat performance of the season opener, undefeated (3-0) Holley will celebrate Homecoming by hosting Bolivar-Richburg in an 8 Man Division game at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Holley scored a 48-30 road win at Bolivar-Richburg in the season opener as quarterback Destin Kuyal passed for 4 touchdowns (3 to Vinny Golisano and 1 to Mason Moyer) and ran for 2 more.

Kuyal has a total of 13 touchdowns passing and 4 rushing over the Hawks first 3 games. Golisano has caught 10 of the TD aerials.
