Medina Unified wins basketball playoff opener
The Medina High Unified basketball team won the first round of the playoffs today by downing visiting Williamsville 39-36.
Xavier Moyer scored 20 to lead Medina as Anthony Harrington and Matthew Kennedy both added 6, Aiden Cherry 5 and Russell Brunette 2.
The final game of the playoffs will be played tomorrow at West Seneca at 10:30 a.m.
