Medina Unified team wins basketball opener

The Medina Unified Basketball team opened its season with a 33-27 win at Akron this evening.
Matthew Kennedy led the Mustangs with 12 points as Xavier Moyer had 9, Adam Weese 6, Anthony Harrington 4 and Lexi Lowery 3.
Medina’s other players included Jacen Kaiser, Carriielynn Schlegel, Cole Callard and Frankie Stephens.
