Medina Unified team scores playoff win
The Medina Unified basketball team defeated Salamanca 35-31 in the season finale Thursday to capture third place in the sectional playoffs.
The Mustangs were led by Jackson Tuohey with 14 points. Tuohey also earned the Character Athlete Player of the Game award.
