Medina Unified bowlers win sectional title
Contributed Photo -The top seeded Medina Unified Bowling Team captured championship honors at Monday’s sectional competition held at Airport Lanes. Competing in the top division, Medina claimed the crown with a total pin count of 2540 which was tops for the 16 teams in the sectionals. Starpoint finished second in the division with a score in the 2200’s and Olmsted was third in the 2100’s. This is the Mustangs second straight sectional championship. Coach Rob Dennis and his Mustangs squad which includes Juliana Allis, Gracelin Manhke, Gracie Cogovan, Morgan Crossett, Emma Carson, Zachary Fike, Arian Cayea, Bobby Vidivich, Jackson Touhey, Steven Secore, Tom and Joe Biacelli are shown here with the sectional plaque. “This means a lot to our team. I am so proud of them and effort they give me. You believe in these kids the sky is the limit,” said Dennis.
