Medina Unified basketball team goes to 3-0
The undefeated Medina Unified Basketball team improved to 3-0 with a 30-21 win over the visiting Lockport Lions Friday.
Malikiah McGill scored a team season high 20 points as Matthew Kennedy had 4 and Brennan Hinckley, Steven Secore and Jackson Tuohey 2 each.
Breaking away from a 4-4 first quarter tie, the Mustangs moved out to leads of 10-6 at the half and 17-12 after three quarters,
Medina put a lock on the win in the final quarter as McGill hit three threes.
Medina’s next game is at Akron on May 19th at 5 p.m.
