Medina U14 girls win season finale

Avenging an earlier season loss, Medina blanked visiting Niagara PAL 2-0 this evening to close out the Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League girls U14 Division campaign.

Breaking away from a scoreless deadlock, Medina used second half goals by Destiny Satkowski and Molly Bielak to claim the victory and avenge an earlier 1-0 loss to Niagara PAL.

Medina finishes the season at 5-6-1.

Boys Soccer

Albion 0, Batavia 0
Albion’s U14 boys squad battled to a scoreless tie with division leading Batavia on the turf at Genesee Community College this evening.

Albion, which finishes the season at Bloomfield on Tuesday evening, is now 6-2-3.

Contests washed out

This morning’s heavy rain forced the postponement of the Gananda at Albion Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U15 Division contest and the Roy-Hart 1 at Medina Lockport Midget ‘B’ League baseball game.
