Medina U14 Fillies win opener
The Medina U14 Fillies opened their softball season with a 19-4 victory over the Mel Ott White team this week.
The Fillies scored in every inning including 4 in the first, 5 in the second and 3 in the third, fourth and fifth frames.
Morgan Allis had a triple and Ryenn Oliver a double for the Fillies as Ashlee Howell had 3 singles, Brandi Guild, Brooklyn Brown, Lacey Kenward and Libby Cook 2 each and Grace Cook 1.
Inn the circle, Kenward had 5 strikeouts while on defense, Oliver had 3 putouts and a fly ball catch at second and Allis had a line drive putout and a ground ball putout.
The Fillies next travel to Sweet Home on Tuesday to play the Mel Ott Red team.
