Medina U12 booters rout G.I. Impact
The Medina U12 Soccer Club upended the Grand Island Impact 7-1 this week.Jack Whipple opened the high scoring affair with a corner kick that led to a Grand Island own goal. Jackson Moreland followed on an assist from Cole Seefeldt. Wyatt Zelazny registered an unassisted goal after Xander Payne stymied an offensive effort by the Impact.
In the second half, Roman Heinsler capitalized on another beautiful corner kick from Whipple. Zaric Boyce scored on an assist from Samuel Kingsbury. Aiden Owczarczak tallied an unassisted goal and Zelazny doubled on an assist by Payne.
Grand Island’s lone goal occurred on a penalty kick.
