Medina trio on N-O American Legion team
Off to a 2-1 start, the lineup for the Niagara Orleans League American Legion baseball team includes a trio of Medina players – pitcher Chris Goyette, shortstop Brian Fry and infielder/outfielder AJ Seefeldt.
Goyette picked up the win on the mound in the team’s 10-0 season opening victory over Lancaster as he hurled a 2 hitter with 6 strikeouts.
At the plate, Fry had a pair of triples and 5 RBI and Seefeldt a double.
The N-O squad then blanked Lake View 10-0 as Fry had a pair of hits and Seefeldt a double.
Most recently, the N-O dropped a 5-1 decision to Jurek Post on Wednesday as a double by Fry was one of the team’s five hits.
The N-O will visit Jurek again on Friday.
