Medina tops Newfane for first tennis win
Snapping a season opening three match losing streak, Medina downed Newfane 4-1 in a Niagara-Orleans League tennis match this afternoon.
River Jones and Logan Trillizio scored singles wins for the Mustangs which also got doubles victories from the duos of Talia Rupp – Paisley Pasnik and Levon Fuller – Eli Biesinger.
Newfane’s point came on a win by the doubles team of Maddie Farley – Allie Smith.
Barker 3, Wilson 2
Barker improved to 2-1 in N-O competition with a narrow 3-2 win over Wilson which drops to 2-1.
Daniel Goodwin and Ryan Fisk scored singles wins for Barker which also got a key doubles win from the duo of Aurora Wass – Oscar Dergel.
Wilson got doubles win from the teams of Tessa Guenther – Shelby Robinson and Zoey Back – Grace Smith.
