Medina tops Albion in N-O soccer opener

A pair of first half goals sparked Medina to a 3-0 win over rival Albion in the Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer opener at Vets Park this evening.
Luke Duffina opened the scoring for Medina off an assist from Izzy Anderson.
Aidan Papaj doubled the Mustangs lead before halftime as Aleks Seefeldt earned the assist.
Seefeldt later rounded out the Mustangs scoring with a second half goal off an assist from Vinny Gray.
Cam Fike earned the shutout in goal for the Mustangs.
Both teams next face non league road contests on Monday with Medina at Buffalo Academy of Science and Albion at Cardinal O’Hara.
