Medina upended defending champion Akron 253-259 in a Niagara-Orleans League golf opener today at Dande Farms.
Dylan Lonnen took medalist honors for Medina with a 41 as Camden Fike added a 45 and Tyler Allen a 49.
Trace Hill led Akron with s 43.
In another N-O opener, Roy-Hart downed Albion 290-incomplete as the Purple Eagles do not have enough players to score.
Evan Poeller took medalist honors for Roy-Hart with a 51.
