Medina to host Albion in soccer twin bill Fri.
Photo by Tom Rivers – It will be a “futbol” doubleheader at Vets Park Friday as Albion visits rival Medina for a girls – boys Niagara-Orleans League season opening soccer twin bill. The girls game at 4:45 p.m. will mark Medina’s return to N-O competition after playing as a merged team with Lyndonville in the Genesee Region League for the past four years. The boys game will follow at 7 p.m. Shown here for Albion is Sophia Albanese who scored a pair of goals in the Purple Eagles win over Sweet Home earlier this week.
