Medina teams score Senior Division indoor soccer wins
Both Medina teams scored victories over the weekend to remain 1-2 in the Senior Division standings of the Kenan Indoor Soccer League.
Front-running Medina 2 defeated Citizens Bank 8-2 to go to 4-1 on the season.
Steven Anderson scored three goals for Medina 2 as Brian Anderson and Max Owens each netted two and Anthony Pane one.
Medina 1 improved to 3-2 by downing Zimmi’s Auto Service 10-3.
Brennen O’Connor scored four goals, Barry Rogenmoser three, Scott Barber two and Josh White one for Medina 1.
Interestingly, Hayden Allis of Medina scored all three of Zimmi’s Auto Service’s goals.
In the Junior Division, Medina dropped a narrow 7-5 decision to Image Collision.
Elian Gonzalez, Kevin Capstick, Garren Bayne, Matt Hess and Sherri Kowal each scored a goal for Medina which slips to 2-3.
