Medina takes first at Victor band competition

Medina’s band took first place on Saturday at Victor Central School District. Victor hosted the Music in Motion band show with 11 high school marching bands performing in competition.
Medina was first in SS1 with a score of 85.80, with East Irondequoit second at 81.40.
In SS3, Pioneer took first with a score of 70.85; Greece in LS3 with 76.40; Cicero-North Syracuse in LS2 with 85.60; and Victor in National Class with 90.35. Medina’s next competition is Oct. 21 in Orchard Park.
Our Senior Recognition is Wednesday, Oct. 25th at 7:30 in Vets’ Park where they will also perform their show “With Every Heartbeat.” The finale of this season is the state championship at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on Sunday, Oct. 29.
