Medina swimmers sweep Notre Dame

Medina scored a sweep over visiting Notre Dame in a non league swim meet Friday.

The Seahorses won the boys’ meet 77-30 and the girls’ competition 74-49.

Bradley Goyette was an individual event double winner for the Medina boys  in the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle as Bryson Ford took the 50 Free, Jackson Reese the 100 Free and Hunter Walczak the 100 Backstroke.

Allie Frentz won the 50 Free, Madeline Mark the 500 Free and Maya Anderson the 100 Backstroke for the Medina girls.

Medina will open Niagara-Orleans League competition at home against Newfane on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Roy-Hart/Barker splits with HAC
Roy-Hart/Barker downed HAC 95-69 in the girls’ meet but lost 125-42 in the boys’ competition.

Abigail Glyshaw was a double winner in the  50 Free and 100 Breaststroke for the Roy-Hart/Barker girls as Maria Trombley took the 100 Free.
