Medina swimmers split with Akron
Medina earned a split with visiting Akron this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet.
The Seahorses won the boys’ meet 112-55 while the TigerSharks took the girls’ competition 108-62.
Isaac Pace was a double winner in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly for the Seahorses while Hunter Heil took the 50 Free, August Pietrafesa the 100 Free and Jaxon Phillips the 100 Backstroke.
The Medina boys are now 1-0-1 and Akron 0-2.
Hannah Heil won the 50 Free and 100 Free and Amanda Woodruff the 100 Butterfly for the Medina girls.
The Akron girls are now 2-0 and Medina 1-1.
