Medina stickmen romp past Gowanda
Getting goal production from eight players, Medina romped to an 18-4 victory over host Gowanda this afternoon to improve to 4-3 in Class D Division lacrosse competition.
Christian Silversmith scored 6 goals to lead the Mustangs scoring parade as Mitchell Silversmith had 3, Zach Blount, Tommy Vasquez and Caleb Boyce 2 and Cayden Lilleby, Chase Prest and Bobby Geiger 1 each.
The Mustangs took command at the outset jumping out to a 7-2 lead after one period.
Medina next hosts Amherst in a non league game at 5 p.m. Friday.
