Medina stickmen roll past Tonawanda
Getting goal production from eight players, Medina romped to a 19-2 victory over host Tonawanda in a Class D Division lacrosse game this afternoon.
Josh Wilson and Will Prest each scored 4 goals to lead the Medina attack. Dylan Lonnen and Cole Callard both added 3, Liam Castricone 2 and Ayden Johnson, Chris Leavitt and Lucius Wagner 1 each.
The Mustangs took charge at the outset jumping out to a 7-1 first quarter lead as Wilson and Prest each scored 3 goals during that stretch.
Medina maintained leads of 13-1 at the half and 16-1 at the three-quarter mark.
Now at 4-3 in the division and 6-4 overall, Medina next hosts Newfane at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
