Medina stickmen roll past Brockport

Eight different players scored goals to lead Medina to a 15-7 victory over Brockport this evening in a non league lacrosse game.

Brendan Luthart scored 4 goals and Christian Silversmith 3 to lead the Medina attack as Zach Blount and DaRon Bellan both netted 2 and Mason Lewis, Chaise Prest, Ethan Leonard and Ian Joseph 1 each.

Medina jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead at the outset on 2 goals by Blount and 1 each by Silversmith and Luthart.

A tally in the final half minute by Lewis kept the Mustangs up 5-2 at the end of the opening period.

The Medina lead increased to 9-3 at the half as Luthart scored 3 goals in the second period and Bellan 1.

Two third period goals by Silversmith and 1 each by Prest and Bellan boosted the Medina advantage to 10, 13-3, at the three-quarter mark.

The Mustangs led by as much as 11, 15-4, with four minutes to go in the final period after goals by Leonard and Joseph.

Now at 3-2 overall, Medina next visits Gowanda on Tuesday for a Class D Division game.
