A pair of late goals earned Medina a come-from-behind 12-11 victory over host Lockport this afternoon in a non league lacrosse game.

Trailing 11-10, Medina rallied for the win as Jake Cotter scored the equalizer with 2:59 remaining and Mason Lewis followed up with the game winner just 52 seconds later.

Cotter and Lewis each had a total of 5 goals on the day as Brendan Luthart and Tyler Howard each chipped in with one.

Breaking away from a 5-5 half-time deadlock, Medina built up a 10-5 lead at the three-quarter mark.

However, Lockport opened the final period with a burst of six straight goals to grab what proved to be a short lived 11-10 lead.

Now at 6-8 overall, Medina next hosts Wilson at 5 p.m. Tuesday in a Class C Division game.
