Medina stickmen rally past Depew

Rebounding from as much as a 4-1 deficit, Medina battled back to defeat Depew 10-8 in a Class D Division lacrosse game at Vets Park this evening.
Down 3-1 after the first period and 5-4 at the half, Medina rallied into a 7-6 lead at the three-quarter mark as Cayden Lilleby scored all three of the Mustangs third period goals.
Keeping the momentum, the Mustangs then outscored the Wildcats 3-2 in the final quarter to lock up the win. Lilleby, Josh Wilson and Dylan Lonnen took turns scoring the goals during that stretch.
Lilleby finished with 5 goals, Wilson 3 and Lonnen and Will Prest 1 each.
Now at 3-2 in the division and 5-3 overall, Medina next hosts Akron at 5 p.m. Friday in a D Division contest.
