Medina splits with Akron in N-O track
Medina and Akron split in a Niagara-Orleans League track meet this afternoon.
The host Mustangs won the boys’ meet 82-59 as Gordon Young was a triple winner in the 100, Long Jump and High Jump.
Akron took the girls’ competition 89 2/3 – 51 1/3 as Madigan Regan tripled in the 800, 1500 and 300.
Madelynn Rutledge was a triple winner in the Long Jump, High Jump and Triple Jump for Medina and Aurora Owczaraczyk doubled in the 100 and 200.
