Medina spikers down Roy-Hart
Albion posts key victory at Akron; Kendall has non league win

Avenging an earlier season four set loss, Medina defeated visiting Roy-Hart 25-10, 25-18, 25-22 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League volleyball match.
Je’ne Brown had 8 spiking kills, Molley Gross 6, Carley Schultz 4, Emily Kams 3 and Lexie Sargent 3 to lead Medina at the net.
Sargent served up points 2-5 and 18-22, including a total of three aces, to lead Medina in the opening set. Brown and Gross both had 3 kills in the set.
Lexi Neuman served up points 2-6 to get the Mustangs rolling in the second set. Sargent later scored points 18-21 and Schultz 23-25 to close it out. Schultz also had 3 kills in the set as Brown, Gross and Sargent each had 2.
Roy-Hart grabbed leads of 7-6 and 14-13 in the third set as Brianna Brewer served up points 4-7 and Skyler Christopher 13-14.
However, Medina got the final three points of the set on serves by Gross to close out the win.
Medina and Roy-Hart are now both 5-4 in N-O action.

Akron 22-20-21
Defending champion Albion clinched at least a tie for a third straight N-O title by scoring a key 25-22, 25-20, 25-21 win at runner-up Akron.
Chanyce Powell had 16 kills, 13 digs and 3 blocks, Kelsee Soule 11 kills and 26 digs, Meghan Hurley 7 kills, 4 aces and 22 assists and Aleah Foos 5 kills to lead the way for the Purple Eagles.
Albion stays perfect at 10-0 with two N-O matches remaining while Akron slips to 6-2.

Faith Morgan had 10 kills, Madison Wolcott 14 assists and Maddy Adams 8 aces to lead Newfane (3-6) to a 25-4, 26-6, 25-12 victory over CSAT (0-9).

Chelsea Wright had 5 kills, 7 aces and 4 digs, Lexi Payton 7 kills and 4 digs and Sarah Pearson 7 aces and 14 assists to lead Kendall to the 25-14, 25-16, 29-27 non league win over Rochester Academy Charter.
