Medina spikers down Lyndonville

Medina bested host Lyndonville 25-13, 25-13, 25-11 this morning in a non league volleyball match.

Nicole Blount and Brittany Schultz each had 8 spiking kills to lead Medina at the net.

Blount also served up points 7-10, Emma Ambrose 14-7 (2 aces) and Abi Smith 22-25 (2 aces) to spark Medina to the 25-13 win in the opening set.

Molley Gross then scored points 2-4, Ambrose 12-17 and Smith 21-23 in the second set.

Back -to-back big runs of service points by Gross (4-11 with 2 aces) and Liz Newman (14-17) then helped the Mustangs close out them match with a 25-11 win iin the third set.

Morgan Hungerford led Lyndonville with 4 kills.
