MEDINA – The Orchard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (formerly called Orchard Manor) last Thursday hosted its Oktoberfest celebration, an annual tradition for about 30 years.
The Frankfurters, a German-American Show Band in the Buffalo area, provided entertainment for the event. They featured Alpine bell ringing and a demonstration on hand-carved wooden Swiss Alpine horns.
Administrator Martin MacKenzie extended thanks to Tom Fuller and his family members who dressed in lederhosen. They provided decorations for the event.
Residents, family members and staff enjoyed the music, food, and festivities on a warm September evening.
