Medina senior to play softball at NCCC

Photo by Mike Wertman – Medina High senior Emily Kams signed a letter of intent this morning to continue her education and softball career at Niagara County Community College. Seated with her are her parents Christine and Gary Scholes. Standing are Medina softball Coach Amber Cleaveland, NCCC Coach Nate Beutel and Medina Superintendent Mark Kruzynski. Kams, a left handed pitcher, has been a four year varsity player for the Mustangs and earned first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors last spring. She has also played varsity volleyball for four years, twice earning first team N-O All-League honors, and varsity basketball for three years. She is planning to pursue a career in nursing.
