Medina and Roy-Hart boys score non league soccer shutouts; Kendall rolls in G-R game
Medina and Roy-Hart both scored shutout victories on the road this evening in non league boys soccer games.
Medina blanked Timon 2-0 and Roy-Hart shutout Tonawanda 8-0.
Both Medina goals came in the first half as Cole Callard scored off an assist from Jackson Moreland and Mason Moreland scored from Alex Benz.
Brady Christiaansen earned the shutout in goal as the quintet of Josh Hilobuk, Bryson Costich, Trenton Morley, Cam Kenward and Luke Duffina anchored the Mustangs defense.
Peter Martillotta scored 4 goals to lead the way for Roy-Hart as Braden Ricker netted 2 and Landen Guild and Jack Johnson 1 each.
Medina is now 2-1 and Roy-Hart 3-1.
G-R Boys Soccer
Kendall defeated host Pembroke 9-0, Attica blanked Lyndonville 8-0 and Byron-Bergen downed Holley 4-1 in Genesee Region League boys soccer games.
Seven players scored goals for Kendall as Devin Edick netted 3 and Mike Colluci, Josh Esposito, Austin Werth, Louis Conte, Hunter Richards and James Fox 1 each.
Chris Mosier scored the Holley goal off an assist from Cameron Bates.
