Medina romps in field hockey season opener
Building up a 5-0 half-time advantage, Medina went on to defeat host Nardin 9-0 in a season opening non league field hockey game this afternoon.
Savannah Jo Thompson scored 4 goals to lead the Medina offense as Janelle Stalker added 2 and Amelia Stalker, Olivia Bessel and Elaina Brice 1 each.
Medina will next open the Niagara-Orleans League campaign at defending champion Akron on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
