Boasting a good returning nucleus, the Medina High varsity field hockey team is prepping for the September 1 Niagara-Orleans League home opener against Wilson.

Seniors Stella Russo, Meghan Allen, Michaela Cardone, Victoria Grimes, Hannah Lonnen, Courtney Albone and Emma Wilson head the Mustangs veteran contingent which also includes juniors Teanna Cardone, Alaina Boyce and Sarah Granchelli.
Russo earned first team N-O All-League honors last fall.

“We’ve got a lot of returning experience and we’re hoping to build from there,” said Coach Amber Cleaveland.
