Medina posts links win over Albion
Getting balanced scoring, Medina posted a 223-268 victory over Albion this morning in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match at Hickory Ridge.
Mike Cardone took medalist honors for Medina with a 42.
Ian Wagner and Melanie Green both carded rounds of 43, Hunter Sturtevant a 46 and Andrew Fuller a 49 for the Mustangs.
Improving to 2-0, Medina next faces defending N-O champion Wilson at 9 a.m. Thursday at Shelridge.
Jared Fearby and Patrick Ricker both shot 50 for Albion which is now 1-1. The Purple Eagles next host Newfane at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hickory Ridge.
