Medina outlasts Wilson in N-O volleyball

Medina outlasted visiting Wilson in five sets 25-15, 15-25, 25-27, 26-24, 15-10 this evening to go to 1-1 in Niagara-Orleans League volleyball action.
Medina rallied to tie the match by taking the fourth set in overtime as a spiking kill by Gabby Flores Medina polished off the game winning point off a serve by Hailey Wilkins. Lorelei Sanders also served up points 15-17 (2 aces) and Ki’Mani Poole points 19-21 to highlight the set for the Mustangs.
Poole then spearheaded the Mustangs win in the decisive fifth set. She had key plays at the net to win points 10 and 11 and then served up the final three points registering aces for points 13 and 14.
Sanders finished with 6 aces and Poole 5. Poole also had 8 kills, Flores Medina 7 and Wilkins 4. Elizabeth Parker had 7 assists.
