Medina nips Lockport in Unified basketball

The Medina Unified basketball team edged visiting Lockport 48-46 Tuesday to improve to 4-2 on the season.
Aiden Cherry scored 16 and Xavier Moyer 14 to lead Medina as Tryvon Shine added 8, Anthony Harrington 6 and Matt Kennedy 4.
Medina next hosts Williamsville in a playoff game next Tuesday at 5 p.m.
