Medina netters top Albion

Staying perfect at 8-0, two-time defending champion Medina downed visiting Albion 4-1.5 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League tennis match.

Straight set wins at the first two singles spots, by Ben Howell 6-0, 6-2 over Andrew Burroughs and by Kristian Snyder, 6-2, 6-0 over Dyer Benjovsky, set the pace for Medina.

The Mustangs also took the first two doubles matches as the duo of Brian Bogan and Tristan Sanders defeated Ben Kirby and Kyler McQuillan 6-0, 6-2 and the team of Nate Pace and Carson Zygoda downed Chris Tabor and Monica Benjovsky 6-4, 7-6.

Albion took the third singles as Josh Metzler downed Chris Keller 6-0, 6-1, and also the third doubles as Michael Stilwell and Dan Beam downed Tom Horgan and Michael Cardone 7-5, 6-2.
