Grabbing a half game lead in the tight title race, Medina downed visiting Akron 3 1/2-2 this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League tennis match.

Medina improves to 10-1 and moves a half game ahead of defending champion Albion which is at 9-1.

The Mustangs will close out the regular season against Wilson next Wednesday while the Purple Eagles have two matches remaining, against Barker on Friday and Akron on Monday.
