Medina Mustangs 14U tops Lancaster Knights
The Medina Mustangs 14U defeated the Lancaster Knights in Premier League play Sunday 8-2.
Medina fired up their offense in the 2nd inning when Bryar Dysard single brought in a run. Tyler Kroening then singled in the fourth inning driving in a run.
In the 6th the Mustangs took the lead for good scoring 6 runs that were driven in by Colton Smith, Tyler Kroening, Ryan Pegelow, and Cole Moyle.
Mustangs had 6 stolen bases, 2 of them by Brady Christiaansen.
Vinny Gray, Pegelow, Jimmy Dieter, and Briley Allen each scored a run. Smith and Christiaansen each scored 2 runs.
Gray earned the win on the mound going five innings, allowing only one run on three hits and striking out 8 batters. Dysard came in for last 2 innings and closed out game striking out 3 batters.
