Medina/Lyndonville earned a 1-1 tie at Avon Thursday evening in a rain shortened Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U18 Division game.

Lexi Wolck scored the M/L goal off a corner kick by Tessa Boyd.

Stormy weather forced the contest to be halted early in the second half.

M/L, which is now 1-4-2, next faces Livonia this evening at the Batavia Sports Park.

In another U18 contest, division leading Penfield (8-1) downed host Kendall (3-4-1) 2-0. That contest was also halted by stormy weather at half-time.
