Medina/Lyndonville posts non league win
Building up a 3-0 half-time advantage, Medina/Lyndonville went on to defeat West Seneca Christian 4-0 this evening in an non league boys soccer game at Vets Park.
The Mustangs grabbed a quick 1-0 lead as Zaric Boyce scored off an assist from Cole Seefeldt just 10 minutes in.
The Mustangs then broke the game open with a quick two goal burst by Cole Callard off assists first from Boyce and then from Seefeldt at the 30 and 33 minute marks of the opening half.
Roman Heinsler netted the Mustangs lone second half goal off an assist from Aiden Burczyk.
Aiden Owczarczak, Zach Harris, Josh Hilobuk and Mason Moreland anchored the Mustangs shutout effort on defense as Zach Fike registered 5 saves in goal.
The Mustangs next visit Rochester Academy at 10 a,m. Saturday.
In another non league contest Holley defeated visiting Newfane 2-0.

Newark 3, Kendall 2 OT
Newark scored a goal in the opening minute of the first overtime period to nip Kendall 3-2 this evening in a non league contest.
Emily Quintern scored in the first half and T’Mia Kitchings in the second half for Kendall.
N-O Golf
Albion won by forfeit over Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match today at Hickory Ridge.
Aidan Paul took medalist honors with a 38 and Dylan Lonnen shot a 40 for Medina’s two scorers.
