Medina/Lyndonville booters rally past Byron-Bergen

Rebounding from a 1-0 half-time deficit, Medina/Lyndonville battled back to defeat Byron-Bergen 3-1 this afternoon in a non league boys soccer game at Lyndonville.

Steven Anderson scored the three goal hat-trick to spearhead the rally for the Mustangs which improve to 4-2 overall on the season.

Steven Anderson pulled Medina/Lyndonville even with a goal just 4:40 into the second half.

Just six minutes later he netted the go-ahead, and what proved to be the game winning, goal off an assist from Brian Anderson.

Steven Anderson later put a firm lock on the victory as he cashed in on a penalty kick opportunity with just 2:35 remaining.

Medina/Lyndonville next visits Holley at 6:30 p.m. Monday in another non league contest.
