Medina, Kendall spikers post wins
Medina romped to a straight set 25-19, 25-13, 25-9 victory over host Wilson this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League girls volleyball match.
Maddie Williams and Je’ne Brown each had 6 spiking kills, Emily Kams and Grace Masse 6 assists, Leah Sheelar 5 serving aces, Lexi Neuman 3 and Williams 2.
Williams served up points 7-11 and Sargent 16-21 to lead Medina in the opening set.
Sheelar also scored points 11-22 in the second set and 9-16 in the third set to help the Mustangs close out the win.
Both teams are now 3-5 in N-O action.
Kendall 21-25-25-25, Northstar 25-15-15-23
Kendall rebounded from an opening set loss to down Northstar in a non league match as Jenna Regan went 20 of 24 from the service line with 14 aces and 3 kills. Chelsea Wright chipped in with 9 assists, 6 digs, 4 aces and 3 kills; Madison Rath 7 kills; Jessica Coble 10 assists, 5 aces and 2 kills and Alexis Payton 6 kills, 5 digs and 3 aces.
