A new foe will provide the opposition as Medina hosts Lake Shore at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Vets Park in an interdivisional game.

The meeting will be the first ever on the gridiron between the teams, both of which are looking to rebound from losses.

Holley is at 0-2 while Finney is 1-1 after a 28-20 win over Alexander and a 39-12 loss to Cardinal O’Hara.

Holley split a pair of close contests with Finney last year winning 21-19 and losing 14-13.

Newfane was thumped 49-8 by Lew-Port last weekend.

Albion holds a 39-9-2 lead in the series with Newfane which began in 1954 including a 49-6 victory last fall.
