Medina has three Scholar/Athlete teams
Three Medina winter sports squads have earned New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar/Athlete awards.
The Mustangs girls swim team had a composite average of 99.505, the boys swim team an average of 98.029 and the girls basketball team an average of 90.573.
The student/athletes who contributed to earning these honors are as follows:
Girls Swimming: Dakota Alexander, Suvi Biesinger, Brooklyn Brown, McKenna Callard, Gracie Cogovan, Paige Dix, Taylor Frentz, Sophia Goyette, Corinne Hill, Hannah Kenward, Kaylee Lacey, Iyla Lilleby, Emma Roush, Madisynn Stanton, Sydney Watts and Amanda Woodruff.
Boys Swimming: Caiden Class, Conor Crandall, Ben Griffin, Jackson Moreland, Mason Moreland, Isaac Pace, Xander Payne, Jaxon Phillips, August Pietrafesa, Henry Rigerman, Cole Seefeldt, Austin Tompkins and David Vanderwalker.
Girls Basketball: Paige Adkins, Lily Jo Carpenter, Amaya Cleaveland, Anna Cruz Robb, Kylie Hinman, Iyla Lilleby, Aleigha Mitchell and FaithAnn Vanderwalker.
