Medina harriers place second at G.I. Invit.

The Medina High boys cross-country team earned second place honors in the Division II race at the Grand Island Invitational today.
Earning medals in claiming that high finish was the quint of Dan Heil, Jack Hill Alden Cayea, Joe Gates and Trenton Crews.
Springville took top honors as Medina edged out Depew for second place.
The Medina girls team placed fourth in Division II led by Hannah Heil, Hannah Sones, Sabrina Quiros and Rebecca Lunden.
In the girls JV race Medina’s Corinne Hill placed sixth.
“Overall is was a great 5K at Grand Island with some good early season experience,” said Coach Eric Gross.
