Medina grapplers down Wilson
Six pins powered Medina to a 48-28 victory over host Wilson this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League match.
A lightning quick eight second pin by Brennen Callara led the Medina barrage which also included sub minute pins by Charles Beach, in 29 seconds, and Hunter Kruger in 59 seconds.
Cody Crane, Ryan Kruger and Nick Doberstein also all registered pins for Medina which is now 1-2 in N-O action.
Medina next visits Newfane at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Newfane stayed perfect at 3-0 by defeating Barker/Roy-Hart 61-12.
Akron also improved to 3-0 with a 54-24 victory over visiting Albion.
Cade Aina, Preston Flugel and Aaron Burnside all registered first period pins for Albion which also got decision wins by Blake Aina and Jessy Cruz. Cade Aina’s pin was the fastest for the Purple Eagles in 23 seconds.
Jake Kubala, Nate O’Lay, Chris Johnstone, Adam Nowicki and Nick Voelker all registered pins for Newfane.
