Medina grads are college teammates

Two Medina High graduates, Ben Austin and Blade Garlow, recently completed a very productive season as teammates on the Pfeiffer University lacrosse team in North Carolina.
Austin, a junior, scored 15 goals and added 14 assists to increase his three year career totals to 23 goals and 18 assists.
Garlow, who is also a junior, had 20 goals and his 15 assists in his first year with the Falcons.
Both players rank in the top five on Medina’s all-time scoring list as Austin had career totals of 133 goals and 81 assists and Garlow 131 goals and 64 assists.
Pfeiffer, a Division 2 college which competes in the Carolinas Conference, went 8-7 on the season.
