The Niagara Country Community College Thunderwolves, whose roster included Medina graduate Rylee VanNostrand, will host Erie County Community College in the Region III Division II women’s basketball semifinals at 1 p.m. Saturday.

NCCC, which brings a 25-2 record into the regonals, bested ECC twice during the regular season by lopsided scores of 122-42 and 142-43. VanNostrand had 8 points and 4 rebounds in the later contest.

On the season, VanNostrand has played in 22 games scoring 69 points with 29 rebounds, 10 assists an 10 steals.

During her senior year at Medina she scored 421 points and earned first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors.
