Medina golfers put lock on N-O title
Putting a lock on outright possession of a third straight title, Medina defeated Albion 209-258 at Shelridge this afternoon in the completion of a Niagara-Orleans League match suspended by stormy weather on Monday.
Ian Wagner took medalist honors with a 37 for Medina as Melanie Green shot 42, Dylan Lonnen and Trevor Luthart 43 and Aidan Paul 44.
Patrick Ricker shot 46 and Nick Perry 48 for Albion.
The victory improves the Mustangs record to 10-0.
Albion earned a split on the day by defeating Roy-Hart 259-285 to finish the N-O campaign at 8-4.
Carson Bader shot 48 and Ricker 49 for the Purple Eagles.
Collin Dodge shot 49 for Roy-Hart which is now 1-10.
