Medina golfers down Newfane to hold lead
Maintaining sole possession of first place, Medina downed Newfane 205-247 at Willowbrook this afternoon to remain undefeated at 7-0 in Niagara-Orleans League golf competition.
Melanie Green took medalist honors with s 35 for Medina as Ian Wagner shot 37, Trevor Luthart 43 and Dylan Lonnen and Aidan Paul 45.
Sam Capen shot 42 for Newfane which slips to 0-7.
In the other N-O matches, Barker (3-5) nipped Roy-Hart (1-9) 278-279 as Jake Harris led the way with a 46 and Wilson (5-3) bested Akron (5-3) 233-243 as Nathan Meyers shot 41 and Patrick Seeley 44 to lead the way.
